The Cure for Writer’s Block

Writer’s block plagues all writers from time to time. The sure cure is to read a good book in your genre (suspense for me), and before you know it, your head is flooded with ideas. Works for me every time.

But what if you don’t have the time to go off and read a book? You need help now. I’ve got just what you need.

Sixty and seventy years ago the world was in the Golden Age of Radio. Suspense, Mystery and Crime were on the radio every night. Families would huddle around huge radio sets and listen to Suspense Theater, Lights Out, This is Your FBI and Inner Sanctum.

Do the same thing now.

Most of these shows are only twenty to thirty minutes long. I’m making them available here for listening or download. Put them on a flash drive, and plug them into your car radio (if you’re so equipped). Download them onto your iPhone, iPod or smart-phone and listen any time. Throw on a pair of earphones at work and listen during your break.

These will always be free. By the way, if there’s an old-time-radio show you’d like to see here, email me and let me know. I’ll see what I can do.
